Evening talk "Guy's Cliffe Walled Garden –its fall and rise" by Sarah Ridgeway

Guy's Cliffe Walled Garden, Warwick extends to about two-thirds of an acre and was once part of the kitchen garden for Guy's Cliffe House. The site had been used as a garden or commercial growing area since the second half of the 18th century but by the early 1980s it had fallen into disuse. The Guy's Cliffe Walled Garden Trust was formed in 2012 with the aim of restoring the garden for community, historic and educational purposes. Sarah is a Director of that Trust and is also Managing Director of Hinton's Nursery and Plant Centre which is on the same site at Coventry Road, Warwick.
