Meetings are held on the 2nd Thursday of each month in Ebrington Village Hall (GL55 6NB) at 7.00p.m. unless otherwise stated.

Members are welcome to bring along a guest to any meeting.
Refreshments are served during the evening.

11th January 2018 - Experiences of working at the BBC - Val Stephens

9th February - Soirée to celebrate 80 years of the Women's Institute in Ebrington looking back over our 80 years of friendship and achievement

8th March - Massage and Reflexology – the benefits of these techniques to help common problemsJudith Humphreys

Sat 17th March - QUIZ NIGHT with ploughman's supper - a WI fundraiser -

12th April - Hidden Glory – the Life of Dorothy Hodgkin – Nobel prize winning chemist from IlmingtonGeorgina Ferry. Open meeting for family and friends.

10th May - Discussion of Resolution on Mental Health Matters for NFWI Annual General Meeting, followed by 'Time to Thank Them' - an audio-visual presentation on behalf of The Nursing Memorial Appeal

14th June - A croquet evening and bring-and-share picnic to coincide with Healthy Living and Wellbeing week

12th July - 1607: the Great Severn Estuary Flood - Rose Hewlett

14th July - EBRINGTON VILLAGE FETE (WI Stall - home-made jams, chutneys, pickles and preserves; home-made cakes for the cake stall and teas marquee)

11th August - EBRINGTON SUMMER SHOW (Gardening Club) - floral art classes open to all

12th August - Shakespeare Hospice Bike Ride - raising funds for the hospice and providing a feed station for the cyclists

13th September - Five pounds! Parachuting and me - training with the Red Devils, Army Parachute Team - Yvonne Cocks. This meeting is open for family and friends, and Group WI members.

7th October - "Reach for the Skies" - Ebrington's own sponsored Bike Ride, with refreshments provided by WI members

11th October - Fused glass - an introduction to its diversity and flexibility - Liz Spurway

8th November - Ebrington WI Annual General Meeting, and Annual Show.

5th December - GFWI Christmas Concert in Cheltenham Town Hall. Guest artists Only Men Aloud.

13th December - Over to You - Members' evening, and draw for Christmas Hamper Raffle.

10th January 2019 - The Trouble with Trivia - Britain's obsession with quiz shows - Robert Hemming
